Willy flew and got lost…

From the

Diary from 5/14/2008

This is an exciting day and I nearly had an heart attack: Willy made a dive into the depth and… landed in the net of a neighbour (one of those who do not want the pigeons shitting on their precious balcony). But Willy could free himself flew back to our balcony – what a little rascal – and then disappeared again. It was late afternoon now and it got darker and darker that day and Willy did not come back. Was that all? I was really sad…

Joey was alone now and spent all night alone in the nest. Should those photos be the last ones of both kiddos and how they were still getting fed by Pete???

Pete having a discussion with his sons…

Joey begging for food….

Pete still having discussions…

yeah – that’s it – what a conspiration….

Pete is giving up and Joey gets what he wanted – again….

  1. Great pictures of pigeons. I can see why you took exception to my post but I did say something to the effect that I’m on the side of pigeons even though it’s not a popular position and know why that is.

  2. Hi Stazjia,
thanks for your comments. I was a bit raffled when I read your post but NOT at you. Sorry if it sounded like that.
I find it only extremely terrible to make that difference between “good” and “bad” animals. How can mankind be so arrogant? Mankind should be the first species to have to be extincted then because we do not deserve to be in this world!

  3. It’s OK, no offence taken. I’m glad that you thought what I wrote was worth reading.

That’s why I put the word ‘nice’ in inverted commas. I was being ironic which doesn’t come over clearly, unfortunately.
